We will be creating a “finished” painting from the beginning. Starting with studies, design go over color theory and composition and stage and costume the model and scene together!! We will also play with achieves diverse textures using different tools and sandpaper! It will be unforgettable!

Hi Everyone!

Join us for a 3 day portrait painting & yoga workshop this March in my private studio in Costa Mesa, CA! Yes, it’s super soon!

Dates: 03/29. Friday - 5-9pm, Demonstration 03/30. Saturday - 9am-5pm (9am yoga. 10 am breakfast snacks ans coffeee provided! 10:30 am painting begins. one hour lunch) 03/31 Sunday - 9am-5pm (9 am yoga. 10:30 am painting begins. one hour lunch)

Day 1

I will demonstrate my approach and talk through each step. Go over the thinking behind problem solving from start to finish in a 4 hour sitting with the live model, snacks and refreshments provided.

Day 2 & 3

We will do a 1 hr yoga class in the studio, lead by Dr. Jessie Painter. It will be an all levels yoga flow. ( you can skip the yoga part of the workshop but we encourage everyone to join! It will be fun)

After yoga we will begin painting from the live model. I'll guide students from start to finish covering all of the fundamentals of painting and give individual help and attention.

*During the breaks Jessie will give helpful yoga exercises and tips for artists!!
